New 'Bikers Cafe' for the BMF Motorcycle Show

The BMF Motorcycle Shows

The BMF (British Motorcyclists Federation) shows have been running for over 35 years and consist of three well attended shows each year.

The May Show (17-19 May 2013) is the season ‘opener’ and is held at the Peterborough Arena (formerly the East of England Showground). It is one of Europe’s largest (if not the largest) motorcycle shows.

The BMF Kelso Bikefest, (5-7 July 2013) held at the Union Borders Showground, is positioned to be accessible to bikers in Scotland and the North of England and is the second show of the season.

The Tailend Show (13-15 September 2013) wraps up the season and is held in Peterborough again. This show plays host to the second European Stunt Show, among other things

What's New at the BMF Motorcycle Show

There is a new innovation in the Indoor Trade Area at the two BMF Peterborough Shows this year.  The BMF organisers, The Mulberry Group, have decided to open up a new 'Bikers Cafe' in the heart of the Indoor trade Area to enhance everybody's show going experience.  This cafe will be serving all the good things that show-goers could possibly want, with tables and chairs for a rest (and possibly a number of biking periodicals to browse through). This should create the perfect environment to sit, drink, eat and view the exhibitors within the area....and once suitably refreshed, start investigating what’s on offer at the trade stalls again without experienceing burnout!

BMF Show Indoor Traders have always been attracted to the shows and many return to the same plot each year to maintain continuity and make sure their customers know where to find them (just talk to John at Crossbow Calendars)!  Over the last three seasons there has been a slow but steady increase in footfall at the shows and hopefully the new cafe will make the whole show experience just that bit more enjoyable for vsitors to the Shows and better for traders too.

Indoors at the BMF Kelso Bikefest

After three years of having to turn indoor trade away because of no further suitable indoor space – the BMF Kelso Bikefest show organisers have now increased the Indoor Trade Area by joining the existing structure to a marquee. So if the Scottish bike market is for you but you don’t want to risk the weather you can now enjoy a lot more nice dry indoor space to sell at, if you are a trader or wander round if you are a show visitor!
